Updating Demographic Details in Aadhaar Card:

As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, updating demographic details in the Aadhaar card involves visiting an Aadhaar Enrollment Center or using the Self Service Update Portal (SSUP) on the official UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) website. Please note that the process may have been updated, so it’s advisable to check the official UIDAI website for the latest information. Here is a general guide:

  1. Locate the Nearest Aadhaar Enrollment Center:
    • Find the nearest Aadhaar Enrollment Center by visiting the UIDAI website or contacting the Aadhaar helpline.
  2. Visit the Enrollment Center:

    • Collect an Aadhaar Update Form at the enrollment center and fill it out with the updated demographic details.

Method 2: Self Service Update Portal (SSUP)

  1. Visit the UIDAI Self Service Update Portal (SSUP):

    • You can check the status of your update request using the URN on the SSUP portal.

Important Notes:

  • Always carry original documents to the Aadhaar Enrollment Center for verification.
  • Ensure that the supporting documents are valid and adhere to the UIDAI guidelines.
  • The update process may take some time, and you can check the status online.
