Updating Demographic Details in Aadhaar Card:

Method 1: Visit Aadhaar Enrollment Center

1. Locate the Nearest Aadhaar Enrollment Center:
   • Find the nearest Aadhaar Enrollment Center by visiting the UIDAI website or contacting the Aadhaar helpline.
2. Visit the Enrollment Center:
   • Visit the Aadhaar Enrollment Center in person.
3. Fill Out the Aadhaar Update Form:
   • Collect an Aadhaar Update Form at the enrollment center and fill it out with the updated demographic details.
4. Submit Supporting Documents:
   • Provide supporting documents that validate the changes you want to make. For example, if you are updating your address, you may need to provide a proof of address document.
5. Biometric Authentication:
   • Complete the biometric authentication process, including fingerprint scans and iris scans.
6. Receive Acknowledgment Slip:
   • After submitting the form and completing the process, you should receive an acknowledgment slip containing the Update Request Number (URN). Keep this slip for future reference.
7. Check Aadhaar Update Status:
   • You can check the status of your Aadhaar update online using the URN provided on the acknowledgment slip.

Method 2: Self Service Update Portal (SSUP)

1. Visit the UIDAI Self Service Update Portal (SSUP):
   • Go to the official SSUP portal: https://ssup.uidai.gov.in/update.
2. Login with Aadhaar:
   • Log in using your Aadhaar number and the OTP (One-Time Password) sent to your registered mobile number.
3. Choose the Demographic Details to Update:
   • Select the demographic details you want to update, such as name, date of birth, gender, address, etc.
4. Enter New Details:
   • Enter the new details you want to update in the appropriate fields.
5. Upload Supporting Documents:
   • Upload scanned copies of supporting documents if required. Documents may vary based on the type of update.
6. Submit Update Request:
   • Submit the update request. You will receive an Update Request Number (URN) for tracking.
7. Check Aadhaar Update Status:
   • You can check the status of your update request using the URN on the SSUP portal.

Important Notes:
