India me bijli connection lene ke liye process kaafi straightforward hai. Naye connection ke liye aapko apne local electricity department ya distribution company (DISCOM) ke office me form bharna hota hai ya online apply karna hota hai. Yahaan general process bataya gaya hai jo almost sabhi DISCOMs ke liye kaam karega:
1. Documents Ki Zarurat
Bijli connection ke liye aapko kuch basic documents ki zarurat hoti hai:
- Identity Proof: Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID, etc.
- Address Proof: Ration Card, Rent Agreement, Property Tax Receipt, etc.
- Property Documents:
- Ownership proof (Registry, Sale Deed)
- NOC (No Objection Certificate) agar aap kirayedaar hain.
- Photographs: 1-2 recent passport size photos.
2. Application Form Ka Bandobast Karein
- Form aapko electricity department ke office se ya unki official website se mil jaayega.
- Major DISCOMs:
- BSES (Delhi)
- Tata Power
- UPPCL (Uttar Pradesh)
- MSEDCL (Maharashtra)
- TANGEDCO (Tamil Nadu), etc.
3. Form Bharna aur Submit Karna
Form bharte waqt aapko ye details deni hongi:
- Personal Information: Name, Contact Number, Email.
- Connection Type: Domestic (ghar ke liye), Commercial, Industrial, etc.
- Load Requirement: Kitne kW ka load chahiye (generally 1-5 kW ghar ke liye hota hai).
- Meter Installation: New ya existing meter ka option select karein.
Form ke sath required documents attach karke nearby DISCOM office me jama karein ya online submit karein (agar available ho).
4. Fees Payment Karein
- Application fees aur security deposit ka payment karna hoga.
- Ye amount DISCOM aur connection type ke hisaab se vary karta hai.
- Payment ka option cash, cheque, ya online hota hai.
5. Site Inspection
- DISCOM ki team aapke ghar/plot ka site inspection karegi.
- Wo check karte hain ki wiring aur infrastructure safe hai ya nahi.
6. Meter Installation Aur Connection
- Inspection ke baad meter install kiya jaayega.
- Final approval ke baad bijli ka connection activate ho jaata hai.
7. Online Application Process (Optional)

- Form fill karein, documents upload karein, aur fees online pay karein.
